  • The 2011 and 2012 PUR data in CalPIP and on DPR's ftp site were updated on 10/24/2014. These updates include a number of additions and corrections to the data since they were first posted. The most important corrections were in the site location ID (site_loc_id), license number (license_no), and grower ID (grower_id) data fields. When the 2011 and 2012 data for these three fields were originally transmitted to DPR, they were incorrectly formatted. These data have since been corrected, resulting in minor changes in pesticide totals for each year:
    • In 2011, the total number of records increased by 0.4 percent and the total pounds of active ingredients (AIs) decreased by 0.05 percent.
    • In 2012, the number of records increased by 0.7 percent and the total pounds of AIs increased by 0.4 percent

  • Adjuvant Product Information
An adjuvant is a type of pesticide product that is used to aid or enhance the activity or performance of another pesticide product such as an herbicide, insecticide, desiccant, pool product, etc. California law defines adjuvants that are packaged and sold separately as pesticide products that require registration. The U.S. EPA does not register adjuvants. Adjuvant products include defoamers, spreader/stickers, pH modifiers, etc. The fields "chemical name", "chemical code", "pounds of chemical" and "chemical percents" for products registered as adjuvants are not available and will show on the output reports as "N/A".
  • Contains updated data - some label, chemical and license data has been updated as of November 2004.
